Hello, friends. There is no easy way to say this, but with a heavy heart I have decided to close Roma Collectibles. Our last day will be Sunday, April 6th.

As most of you know, Aaron was in the toy business since he was a kid, selling his old Ninja Turtles at coin shows with his dad. Online sales and toy shows dominated his adult life, but it was always his dream to own a brick and mortar. And even though it wasn’t for very long, only three years, he did it! Not everyone gets to achieve their dream and I am so proud of him and that I got to be a part of it.

And a huge THANK YOU goes out to all of you for your friendship, and support. We literally couldn’t have done it without you. I can’t tell you how much Aaron loved running the shop, talking toys, helping folks young and old find their new plastic obsession. Even when he wasn’t feeling well the shop put a smile on his face. Thank you for helping his dream come true.

All of that said, for a lot of reasons, it’s just too hard to be there and to keep the place going without him. It’s been very difficult and I know this is what’s best for me going forward. Please know that this is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make and I know that some will be disappointed. I would ask for your kindness and understanding regarding this decision.

We will remain open on the weekends through April 6th. We will also be set up at the CTS Promotions Columbus Toy Show on the 16th and The Great Ohio Toy Show - Xenia, Ohio on the 29th and I hope that we will see many of you there.

Please, no inquiries about liquidating inventory at this time.

Thank you again for your support and understanding! ❤️

Hello, ROMA friends this is Sara (Mrs. Roma), for those of you who don't know, Aaron passed away on Friday afternoon after a long battle with cancer.

If you knew Aaron and had been to the shop, you know how much he loved being there. He loved talking toys and helping customers. He looked forward to going into work, even when he didn't feel well. Owning a toy store was his dream and all of you helped him to achieve that dream, and for that I say THANK YOU!

I also want to thank everyone who went out of their way to offer us support when Aaron was diagnosed. Your support, kindness, and encouragement meant so much to him and means the world to me. You all helped us through some tough, dark times with your generosity. Thank you to everyone who donated financially, gave us their time, helped us keep the doors open, or just gave us kind words.

We are still in the process of deciding what to do with the shop, we ask that you keep an eye on this page for updates.

We WILL be open this Saturday 12-5, and Sunday (hours TBD).

Again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

-Mrs. Roma
