Not just pretty, but built to last.
This is the kind of craftsmanship going into every detail of this house.

Nobody does this on houses anymore, we brought it back.
Shake gables. You see them on old beach houses, maybe a few homes from the 50s and 60s β€” but they're rare now.
We brought them back on every gable of this house and they look incredible in person.
This is the kind of detail that makes this house worth winning.

Custom spindles, original white oak, and trim that hasn't been touched since 1910.
You can't just call and order that. You have to make it.
This is the kind of work going into this house.

In 1923 West Virginia was actively rebuilding its own wildlife β€” turkey, pheasant, deer β€” right here in Upshur County at what was then called the French Creek Game Farm.
This place has more history than most people realize.

Buckhannon showed out for the West Virginia Strawberry Festival this past weekend. If you weren't there, put it on your list for next year.
And if you stopped by our tent β€” thank you. You're officially in the running.

You won't believe the kitchen updates
New cabinets are in. Slow close doors, clean lines, and it's only getting better from here.
This is what's waiting for whoever wins.

This is who you're supporting when you enter to win this house.
Feed My Sheep Food Outreach started with 20 bags. Now they serve 45,000 people a year out of a 1,500 square foot building in West Virginia.
That's where a portion of every entry goes.

The Smithfield Street renovation is picking up momentum. In Episode 4, we walk through the house with Josh Bennett as the kitchen cabinets from Harper Lumber take shape, the staircase gets reconditioned, and the bathrooms move closer to finished. Outside, the cedar shake gables are going up β€” and Josh breaks down exactly why every layer of this exterior build is designed to last. Then we take a trip to the West Virginia Wildlife Center in French Creek, one of the oldest conservation sites in the state, and learn the unexpected story of how a game farm became a beloved piece of Appalachian history. Oh β€” and someone may owe the Wildlife Center an explanation about the turkey exhibit.
