Check out my own Pork Bao! I didn't have pork belly on me, but I did need to repurpose excess pork lumpia meat!! So I pressed the lumpia meat into disks, fried them, smothered them in sweet and sour sauce mixed with hoison, soy sauce, and honey, and then I plopped them in the folding bao buns. This was a last-minute thing for dinner, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that my husband wolfed them up! They were soooo good! 🙌🏼 😋
