! What's for dinner tonight? A whole personal protein pizza that's about 300 calories or less?! It's super simple! Also, it's and .
1. Separate egg whites from about 4 to 5 eggs, and beat them with a mixer (2 minutes maybe) until peaks form.
2. Mix in your "crust" spices (I like a few sprinkles of paprika, pink salt, and black pepper), a teaspoon of baking powder, AND... a tablespoon or two of powder - this is important! Arrowroot (or almond powder) will help get that pizza crust "texture."
3. Spread your egg white crust mix onto a circular pizza pan. I recommend oiling up a baking sheet for better pizza handling.
4. Bake your crust for 12 to 15-ish minutes on 350 degrees Farenheit. Check it - it will NOT be a light brown color. You're aiming for a blonde-ish color with some golden edges as the egg whites cook and as the arrowroot helps cook it to a crust-like texture. Be careful with the oven!
5. Then, remove your pizza from the oven, add your tomato sauce, cheese, and toppings, and bake another 5 to 8-ish minutes to melt the cheese.
6. Enjoy!
