Since this year is the 100th Anniversary of Union Pacific 9000 I thought I would give you all a bit about this locomotive.

This locomotive was built in 1926 for the Union Pacific Railroad by ALCO. It was the prototype for the Union Pacific 9000 class. Which Union Pacific would have 88 between 1926 and 1930.

These locomotives were built with a wheel arrangement 4-12-2, at 102 ft long, weighing at 402.75 tons, and powered by three cylinders.

These locomotives were mainly used for freight in flat country. Successful but were very costly maintenance-wise due to the third cylinder.

Union Pacific would end up retiring these locomotives between 1953 and 1956 with all locomotives would end up being scrapped except for 9000. 9000 would end up being donated to the Rail Giants Museum in 1956 where it still stands today along with the other engines on display.

Union Pacific even brought 9000 under its own power to the museum! Which would be the last time 9000 would operate.

You can find me talking more about this engine as well as the others at the Rail Giants Museum from my vlog on my YouTube channel back in 2023.

Bane steps on a Lego! This has to be the funniest part in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight! ๐Ÿฆ‡

Another one of my favorite moments from Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight from the Training Montage cutscene and the Batman Cutaway from the 1966 TV show!

My first reactions in combact in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight! This game has been so much fun to play! Especially seeing them incorporate all the Batman stuff from the movies, shows, and such.

In honor of the Big Boy continuing its Coast to Coast tour. I thought I would show you all the Big Boy Spring Garden from my visit to the Rail Giants Museum at the LA County Fair earlier this month.

These springs were once used for the Big Boys to help center it. As shown in the second pic. As well as the perimeter of the garden being a tire that was once used on it as well. ๐Ÿš‚
