Here's a "gage d'amour" or pipe/to***co bag that I made recently. It is made of red ochre dyed braintan buckskin with porcupine quillwork all sewn with deer backstrap sinew. The fringe are also wrapped with porcupine quills. The neck strap has some original 1800s clear and yellow "Russian" or faceted beads. Clay pipe. I store to***co in the bag along with a burning lens. -- Brad

Another year is coming to an end, and it’s time to reflect on all the accomplishments and great times we had.

The men of the party participated in 10 camps ranging from snowshoe treks, high mountain meadows, hunting, trapping, relaxing, etc. There were RMO members present at all 3 national level events. In total the men were out on the ground approximately 60 days this year. Besides being out on the ground, the spirit of educating the public is alive and well. Approximately 250 hours of volunteer work was done at various sites such as Bents Fort, Ft Laramie, Ft Uncompaghre, Ft Lupton, &c.

The hunting seasons were successful for a number of the men. There were 2 turkeys, 1 deer, 3 elk, 22 beaver, and various other small game harvested. Thanks to Tom Karnuta, Nathan Blanchard, Gabe Hanratty, Steve Chin, and Brad Bailey for helping to supply the brigade with plenty of meat.

The party grew by 2 members during the year. Waylon Johnson became a pilgrim in August. Former Florida AMM member Robert Earl Lentz submitted for reinstatement.

The RMO continues to have a strong website that is updated a handful of times per year. This year the website had 190,000 page views. It continues to draw interest from around the world and possible prospective members.

Thanks for all the support, and we look forward to another great year.
