Here is something different!
Dulce isnt your typical clunky chunky monkey draft cross. He is light on his feet and in the right hands would make for a great Foxhunt, Dressage or Eventing partner. Saddly his exact breeding is unknown but he shows a lot of spanish breed characteristics that leads one to believe he has some Andalusian type of blood in his background. Wicked smart, willing to please and if your goal is to get noticed this one wont just tuen heads, he spins them! Turns a deep almost a chocolate color in the colder seasons and a beautiful cream in the warmer months but no matter the time of year Dulce is absolutely stunning! He has had a late start in life under saddle but has learned just as much in a few months as most do in a year, so it won't take long for him to catch up in training. His personality will melt your heart and it he will only be available to a perfect fit as he is big, green and needs to be in a consistent program where he can continue to grow and flourish. Not a beginner's type at this time, however he could be this time next year if kept in training. While I wish I could say he is perfect in every way I do need to disclose that he still needs work in the picking up feet department. Other than that he is an ideal prospect for a serious rider looking to develop into a top tier ribbon winner. Out of the ring Dulce is calm and content hacking down the trails, pop over logs, loves to take a little dip in the water, no problem over obstacles, fine solo or with friends. Fine riding out and being around with dogs. Currenly barefoot and sound, a very easy keeper, just had his teeth done and is good for the vet. Trailers without issue and is turned out with a mixed herd. Great in a stall but loves his turn out time. Located in New Jersey.
