Don’t miss Rake’s 125th anniversary celebration this Saturday! Activities kick off with a parade at 1 p.m., and anyone who would like to participate can line up starting at noon on North Main Street. The Decorah Nordic Dancers will join the parade, and they’ll also perform at 2 p.m. by the Rake Fire Station. There will be a corn hole tournament and firemen’s water wars at 3 p.m., live music and the fire department’s sweet corn feed starting at 4, and bingo at 5. Stop by the community center to check out a museum that’s being set up for the Quasquicentennial, and purchase lefse, kringla, commemorative t-shirts, and more.
