NO FLOOR, NO EQUIPMENT WRIST MOBILITY EXERCISES 🖐✊
Wrist mobility is just as important as shoulder mobility for getting those full swing angles quickly and accurately in Beat Saber! Try out some of these exercises and experience the burn for yourself!
My name is Mike and I am a 38 year old fitness coach with the goal of bridging the gap between fitness and dance gaming. I started on DDR in 2002 and playing Beat Saber since July 2022. Believe it or not, I almost had to quit because of carpal tunnel issues.
I am using fitness and mobility training to excel at Beat Saber, and it has sent me up the Expert and X+ scoreboards harder and faster than I ever thought possible. Additionally, my wrists and forearms have regained their youth, and I no longer wear daily wraps and nightly braces.
A full body approach that began from strengthening the hands, stabilizing all areas of wrist rotation, working into the forearms, stabilizing the shoulders, then building chest, back and core, I was able to start conquering the Expert+ scoreboards. No matter how much anyone is capable of reading a chart, mobility is always the limiting factor, and no single exercise or stretch is going to do the trick.
