If you grew up in Western New York, there’s a good chance a summer trip to Martin’s Fantasy Island on Grand Island is permanently burned into your memory.
The Silver Comet. 🎢
The Wild West shows. 🤠
The water park. 🌊
The kiddie rides you thought were AMAZING when you were 6. 😂
Walking around all day in the summer heat, completely exhausted, but somehow still begging for ONE MORE RIDE.
For generations of WNY families, Fantasy Island wasn’t just an amusement park—it was part of growing up around Buffalo. The park originally opened in 1961 and became Martin’s Fantasy Island in 1994.

Kyle Williams wasn’t the fastest. He wasn’t the flashiest. He just showed up every Sunday, gave everything he had, and became the definition of what it meant to wear a Bills jersey.
Tough. Loyal. Relentless.
In an era when Buffalo didn’t have much to celebrate, Kyle Williams never stopped fighting for this city. That’s why so many fans still consider him one of the greatest Bills of all time.

Is anyone else starting to feel like we’re watching the beginning of something special with Zach Benson?
The kid plays with heart every single shift. He doesn’t back down from anyone, he’s fearless on the puck, and he already plays like he understands what it means to wear the Buffalo crest.
Buffalo has always loved players who outwork everyone else, and Benson seems built for this city. If he keeps developing the way he has... are we looking at the next Buffalo sports legend in the making?
