Our November co-host is a long time friend so let me formally introduce her!

A fellow alumni of Elmira College, Katherine Juliano has a love of most things theater, literary, and bread! While she is not working she can be found being a part-time witch with her two cats and husband deep in the woods of New York. She sits as a player for a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, DMed by, none other than, Trevor, where she find pleasure in being a women made out of rocks.

But enough kidding, Katherine is truly an amazing person, no matter the time or day, she will pause everything to listen to whatever story, or grievance you may have. I luckily met her my freshman year of College, back in 2014 and slowly she has become akin to a older sister for me! I am beyond excited to get to have her on the podcast and talk about such an interesting book!

I hope you enjoy your time with her as you listen to this month’s episodes as much as I did!

The Reveal!!

The Plot by Jean Hanff Korelitz! This book about a book is engaging and somewhat maddening :). But not only that but it also asks some really good questions about the craft of writing and the ownership of an idea. I am sure once you get into it you’ll have a hard time putting the book down!

A new month has begun which means a new book is being cracked open currently! Welcome to our 3rd month of What I Was Thinking and the fourth book on the podcast.

This month we are pivoting from the realm of fantasy and going to be reading something that could be a little thrilling to some or be a down right mystery to others. Don’t worry though, I have you covered and tomorrow the reveal will go live!

Surprise! We have a new type of episodes to be periodically released that combines the read through and deep dive into one single episode.

As a Halloween special, our first plot twist is Coraline, and wonderfully dark and fun fantasy children’s novella. The episode is a quick little insight into the mind of Neil Gaiman and my first solo episode since Howl’s Moving Castle. It may be a little rough at the start but don’t worry, I am clearing the cobwebs so we can make these flourish for future book. The episode is out now so hop on and give it a listen!!
