Talk about a FULL-CIRCLE moment. ❤️

The owners of Capital Management Services (CMS) have known me since I was 19 years old, long before CMS and definitely long before Latinas Evolving. We originally met while working together at a completely different company.

Years later, CMS became part of my own professional journey. And now, decades later, they showed up as the Presenting Sponsor of our LE Magazine Celebration.

There’s something special about people who knew you before the titles, the business and the vision and then choose to invest in what you’ve built. ❤️

From knowing me at 19 to standing beside what I’m building now. Full circle.

Suheiri: from the phone calls about décor ideas to helping bring them to life, your response was always, “I’m here to help.” And you were. ❤️

Sherri Falck: without us even asking, you said, “I’ll take charge of the volunteers.” And you DID. 😂👏🏽 Thank you for coordinating everything and taking something completely off my plate.

Migdalia, owner of Belia Beauty Studio: you opened your doors as our swag-bag drop-off location, stored everything, brought it all to the venue AND, alongside your daughter and other volunteers, helped put the bags together. ❤️

From the moment we sat down with Alison, co-owner of Mint Mojito Bar, she understood the vision. ❤️

We didn’t just need a venue. We had a very specific feeling we wanted people to experience when they walked into our LE Magazine Celebration and Alison listened.

We wanted the outdoor space to feel like a family gathering. Warm. Welcoming. Colorful. People eating, talking, laughing, connecting and celebrating together.

And what we appreciated most was her willingness to work with the vision. Things were moved around. The space was reimagined. Her team adapted. And throughout the night, the Mint Mojito staff worked hard to take care of our guests and help everything flow.

That kind of partnership matters when you’re trying to bring an experience to life.

It wasn’t just an event. It was an EXPERIENCE. 🎻🎨🎶

From the moment our guests walked through the doors, we wanted them to feel the culture, energy and intention behind the night.

And what better way to do that than through art, created and shared by Latino artists in their own unique ways. ❤️

Our violinists “Vibrant Strings” set the tone beautifully with Latino music - from Bad Bunny and Karol G to classics we all know and love. 🎻

DJ CPerfect kept us jamming throughout the night with even more Latino classics. 💃🏽🔥

And then there was Angelee V, creating art LIVE throughout the evening. 🎨

Angelee describes the finished piece as a dialogue between paintings, art within art, filled with little “easter eggs” that tell a story of memory, evolution, identity, goals, experiences and the journey traveled.

And we took it one step further. ❤️ Every swag bag included a printed card inspired by this artwork, each with different details, colors and meaning, including an illustration from the piece Angelee created for us last year.

So even the piece of art guests took home was connected to the story we’ve been building.

Different forms of art. Different expressions of our culture. One intentional experience.

We didn’t just want to host a celebration. We wanted to create an experience that celebrated US. ❤️

The perfect blend of energy + calm. ❤️

That’s exactly what Kara and Aaron brought as hosts of our LE Magazine Celebration.

Kara brought that BIG energy we know and love 😂, while Aaron brought his naturally calm, smooth presence—and somehow, together, it was the perfect balance.

But what made it even better was their chemistry. They’re both naturally funny, genuinely enjoy each other as people, and you could feel that friendship on stage. Nothing felt forced.

They kept the room moving, made people laugh, knew when to bring the energy and when to let the moment breathe.

Choosing hosts isn’t just about finding people who can hold a microphone. It’s about finding people who can complement each other and help carry the experience.

Kara + Aaron understood the assignment. 👏🏽❤️

✨ Maria Cruz of Get Heart Set received a $500 micro-grant, made possible through Latinas Evolving and Belia Beauty Studio, to support her journey as an author as she works toward publishing her second book.

Because sometimes an investment isn’t just about the dollar amount.

It’s about saying: We see what you’re building. We believe in it. And we want to help you keep going.

This is just ONE of the investments we’ve been able to make this year and there’s more to come.

📸 Marian Marrero of Memorias Photography received an investment in her photography business, made possible through the support of Dr. & Mrs. Frey and Latinas Evolving, providing her with equipment to continue growing her craft and her business.

But the investment didn’t stop there.

Gliset Colón and Nino of Amapola Arts also poured into Marian by gifting her photography classes to continue developing her skills and craft. ❤️

This is what happens when people come together and invest in someone’s potential.

And this is just ONE of the investments we’ve been able to make this year.

Sherri: From day one, you’ve believed in me and this vision. This year especially, you went ABOVE and beyond - as an advisor, mentor and friend. From sponsor connections and overseeing volunteers to setup AND breakdown, you stepped up in every way. ❤️

Stephanie: Advisory Board member AND our event coordinator. Meetings, communication, problem-solving, setup, breakdown - you stood beside me and helped execute this vision from beginning to end. ❤️
