I will be spinning all my favorite genres, that are part of my musical DNA, during the first half of the night (punk, 80s/90s/00s alt and alt pop, college radio, Canadian, etc.) and then all the goth, post-punk, dark wave, new wave, synth, EBM, and more you can handle for your dancing pleasure, and have come to expect from my dance nights, the rest of the night.

Due to an unexpected family emergency, I have to postpone tonight's, 'I'm Not Okay, But I Will Be ...' event. Anyone who knows me, knows I don't take cancelations lightly so my apologies to all who were looking to come out. However, rest assured, this will be rescheduled to a later date. Regardless, you should still go to The Merry Shelley and support the best, and only, little goth bar in Buffalo!

So many thanks to those who came out to Darkwave & Alternative Dance Party with DJs Debra and Servo at Hot Mama's Canteen this past Sat nite. DJ Debra and I hope everyone had a great time, because we had so much fun spinning music for all you beautiful souls. We would also like to thank VJs Leah and Paul for letting us take over the night and the entire crew at Hot Mama's Canteen for their wonderful hospitality, as always. Our setlists are below.

DJ Debra and I will be returning on Sat, 9/12/26 and hope you can all can join us again.

For many of us, the past 19 months have been spent profanity-laced rage screaming at the top of our lungs into the vast, blackened and empty void of the universe. However, I think we all need a break. A reprieve, if you will. A slice of solace, if not for just one night. So, join us on Sat, 7.18.26 at The Merry Shelley for I'm Not Okay ... But I Will Be; an Evening of Emo, Punk and More! and let's turn that emotional chaos into singinging loudly at the top of our lungs all the emo, punk/pop punk and late 90's/early 00's alternative bangers you know and love. It was a great music mail call day! I ordered the FANTASTIC 2025 self-titled release from NITE, along with a tee inspired by one of my favorite songs of theirs; 'Price For Heaven' off of Bandcamp. And, much to my delight and surprise, the album arrived autographed by brothers Kyle and Myles!

If you're not familiar with this amazing dark wave/synth pop band from Dallas, TX then do yourself a favor and go listen to them now! You'll absolutely thank me for it later.

Oh and btw, if you're in the WNY area, they're playing Photo City Music Hall in Rochester, NY on 8/11/26. You should DEF go see them. I'll be there!! ✌️🖤🤘
