Hosting this important event at Delaine Waring AME Church held deep significance. As a historic pillar in Buffalo’s Black community, this church symbolizes resilience, faith, and the power of collective action. It was the perfect setting to discuss the challenges we face and the paths forward, honoring both our history and our future.

A special moment for the Black Gems was the opportunity to meet Congressman Clyburn in person. Engaging with such a distinguished leader was both inspiring and motivating for our work ahead.
