The Black Resource Awards hoste by Carlanda Meadors held it's 2nd Annual Event on February 20,2026 - The Recipient of The Malcolm X (NIA) award went to Andrew Druski Scott

Andrew Scott is a real estate powerhouse and co‑founder of Realty Group, the first Black father‑and‑son owned real estate company of its kind, reshaping how property ownership and legacy building look in the community.

More than a realtor, Andrew educates and empowers through first‑time homebuyer workshops and collaborative leadership within the real estate field.

Affectionately known as “Druski,” he is also a well‑known foodie, community personality, and a hands‑on father deeply invested in his children’s growth. His willingness to share knowledge, work collaboratively, and lead with foresight sets him apart.

The Black Resource Awards held it's 2nd Annual Event on February 20,2026

The Recipient of The Shirley Chisholm went to Judge P. Davis who has long been a steadfast advocate for justice and community, well before taking the bench.

Prior to becoming a judge, he was one of the hardest‑working attorneys behind the scenes, providing critical legal guidance that helped redirect the futures of countless youth at pivotal moments in their lives. He has taken cases when clients could not afford representation, created payment arrangements, and assisted families despite logistical challenges.

Known for his sharp intellect and unwavering humility, Judge Davis consistently pours into young people, speaks at community forums without hesitation, and gives back selflessly. His service is rooted not in recognition, but in heart.
