I'm torn between adopting one cat or two, and I need some advice. These two are inseparable, and my sister has been fostering them together. I already have a 2-year-old cat at home (who has lived with other cats before), and I'm definitely going to adopt a black and white cat. But the tabby girl still doesn't have a forever home, and she's a gentle, loving soul. My only concern is space (825 square foot apartment) and how my current cats will adjust if I bring them both in. Part of me feels guilty about separating them, but I also want to do what's best for all three cats. I'd love to hear different perspectives—what would you do in this situation?

I never thought I’d be adopting two kittens at once — but sometimes the heart just knows what it needs.

A friend’s cat had an unexpected litter, and when she sent me photos, I instantly fell in love with a little tuxedo baby who seemed meant to be — perfectly fitting my life full of black and white pets (and honoring my therapy dog who passed in July).

Then I found out his brother — a golden fluffball — didn’t have a home yet… and, well, how could I say no?

So now we have Illumi (our tuxie) and Killua (our goldie) — named after two brothers from Hunter x Hunter. They’ve already stolen our hearts and filled our home with so much joy, purrs, and chaos.

It’s my kids’ first time having kittens of their own, and watching them learn to love and care for these tiny furballs has been the sweetest thing.

These two little troublemakers came into my life thanks to my foster friend, who was a bit overwhelmed and wanted them to have all the love and attention they deserve. They’re a bonded pair, which means they’re inseparable — where one goes, the other’s never far behind.

Smokey is the calm, curious one with the softest purrs, while Bandit is the mischievous ball of energy who’s always plotting his next adventure. Together, they fill my days with cuddles, chaos, and nonstop smiles.

I feel so lucky to be their new human — and even luckier to witness their sweet bond every single day.

A few weeks ago, this tiny little baby showed up in our garage out of nowhere. He was scared at first, but it didn’t take long for him to warm up and completely steal our hearts. We started calling him Beanie Baby, or Beans for short, and he’s turned out to be the sweetest boy. He absolutely loves getting scratches between his ears and follows us around like he’s always been part of the family.

We already have another garage cat, a stray who adopted us about 17 years ago, and while she’s still deciding how she feels about this new little one, we’re hoping she’ll take on a motherly role soon. Watching them together feels like a small miracle in progress.

It’s amazing how the right little soul can show up when you least expect it. We love this baby more than words can say.

This morning, during my usual walk, I spotted a tiny movement under a bush. When I looked closer, there she was—an adorable little kitten, all alone and trembling. I searched everywhere for her siblings or mom, hoping she’d come running back, but there was no sign of her.

She looked up at me with the biggest, most trusting eyes, and I knew right then I couldn’t just walk away. I scooped her up gently and brought her home, wrapped in my jacket. She’s safe, warm, and already showing her sweet little personality.

Sometimes the universe places small souls in our path for a reason. I may have set out for a walk this morning, but I came back with a tiny new friend and a heart that feels a little fuller today.

Meet Binx! Last Tuesday, while we were out playing disc golf, this sweet little kitty decided to follow us everywhere. By the end of the game, he had made up his mind—he jumped right into our car like he knew he’d found his humans.

After a quick vet visit for vaccinations and a check-up, we cleared up some pesky ear mites and made sure he was feeling healthy. A few days of a full belly later, Binx is now happy as a peach, purring, playful, and completely stealing our hearts.

We love him so much already, and we’re so glad this little adventurer found his forever home with us.
