The Orchard Park Lion Club's 30th annual car, truck and motorcycle show makes a return to the Village of Orchard Park this year for Quaker Days.
The event kicks off at noon next Saturday, July 26, at the Orchard Park Middle School, 60 S. Lincoln Ave.
The event will feature a variety of vehicles, music provided by Joe and the Shmoes, food and drinks, and Deke the Balloon Boy.

Quaker Days sees the return of two events held by the Orchard Park Police Department.
The department's third annual Touch-A-Truck will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, at Mangia Ristorante & Caffe, 4264 N. Buffalo St.
They will also host an open house and D.A.R.E. hot dog cookout on Tuesday, July 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind the Orchard Park Police Department at 4295 S. Buffalo St.

The Orchard Park Police Department will take part in this year’s Quaker Days celebration with two events designed to connect officers with the community in fun, family-oriented settings.

John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital is offering a bereavement camp on Tuesday, July 8, at Chestnut Ridge Park, located at 6121 Chestnut Ridge Road.
This free event is for children ages 5 to 18 who are struggling with the death of a parent or sibling. There they will get the opportunity to meet with child life specialists, learn techniques to work through grief, and connect with other attendees who are undergoing grief and loss.

Tomorrow is the Fourth of July parade and fireworks. The parade will commence at 8 p.m. at the Orchard Park High School Baker Road parking lot and will conclude this year at the Orchard Park Library.
Festivities will continue following the parade at the Quaker Arts Pavilion behind the Orchard Park Middle School. West Seneca resident Sydney Sterlace, who was featured on the show "The Voice," will sing the national anthem before the fireworks show.

On June 18, Bowen Slotman graduated from the three week U.S. Army Basic Airborne Course at Fort Benning in Georgia. Slotman is currently a student at St. Bonaventure University in the ROTC program to become an officer and is pursuing a degree in accounting.

The Lady Quakers first took down Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake of Section II by a 2-0 score in the state semifinals on June 13 and then topped Horseheads of Section IV, 3-1 a day later.

Start your summer off right with the Summer Kick-off Party in the Plaza from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, at Orchard Park Village Plaza, 4190 N. Buffalo Road.
There will be food, beverages, raffles, a golf simulator and music from the Fully Clothed Gents, a Ba*****ed Ladies cover band. The event is sponsored by the Carson Senfield Impact Foundation and The Byrd House.
Admission is $10, with food and nonalcoholic drinks available for purchase. Children 12 and under get in for free. An entrance fee of $20 will include a 16 oz souvenir cup and unlimited draft beer.
