LOLA .buffalo716 asks —— What do you know about Buffalo? 

Did you know that residents in Buffalo are fighting against the development of a multi million dollar Cop City? And that you can support them by donating to the campaign trying to stop it?

City officials in Buffalo have the audacity to approve the building of a police shooting range & training facility in a residential neighborhood, in a space that once housed a community center and currently features a mural of Civil Rights leader, John Lewis by artist Edreys Wajed. The irony is, the project will disproportionately affect the majority Black and Brown working class people living in the neighborhood. 

Not only has the City failed to do a proper environmental impact study on the project ensuring it’s safe to build but they would rather waste millions of tax payer dollars on a facility that will be of no use to the residents instead of restoring it to the beautiful community space that it once was. We’re fighting to restore the community center and stop the facility, and you can help.
