Neeraja Panchapakesan, a doctoral student at the University of Georgia, is currently investigating the feeling of inclusion among South Asian American students enrolled in women's colleges. Her research is centered on diversity, fairness, and the integration of different backgrounds in higher education, with a particular focus on leadership and students who are the first in their families to attend college. Neeraja earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Agnes Scott College, majoring in biology, music, and education, and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in higher education. During her leisure time, she finds pleasure in activities such as reading, baking, solving puzzles, watching TV, spending quality time with her family, and exploring the various shops and restaurants in Decatur, Georgia.

Narke, in his capacity as the Associate Director at the Graduate School's Office of Recruitment & Diversity Initiatives, brings a vast amount of experience to his role. He has obtained a Certification in Diversity and Inclusion and has actively participated in numerous initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion at both the university and national levels. Narke holds degrees in Political Science and Higher Education Administration, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education with a concentration in College Student Affairs Administration. Nancy Lee, an MA, LPC, NCC, CCFP, is a Korean-American psychotherapist who is licensed and runs a private practice. Specializing in trauma-informed therapy for anxiety, stress, and burnout in adults with marginalized identities, Nancy is currently pursuing her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Adams State University. Grounded in values of compassion, well-being, and anti-oppression, her work in counseling, teaching, and research reflects her commitment to these principles. With a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Chicago and a master's degree in counseling psychology from the University of Denver, Nancy also holds various certifications in compassion-based therapy and is training to be a diplomate in Compassion Focused Therapy. Dr. Ball boasts a decade and a half of experience working with young students in Washington D.C. Her leadership style focuses on awareness and she employs positive educational methods for all students from early childhood to higher education, with a particular emphasis on supporting students of diverse backgrounds and those who speak multiple languages. Engaged in public discourse, she delves into the connection between anti-racism policies, academic research, and practical application in her talks and writings. Dr. Ball recently attained her doctoral degree in Educational Policy and Leadership and was honored with the 2022 American University Outstanding Scholarship at the Graduate Level Award. Currently, she holds the position of Assistant Principal in the district, teaches part-time at American University School of Education, and contributes articles to Philly’s 7th Ward. In her professional capacity, she challenges feelings of inadequacy, promotes overall well-being, and offers guidance on conscious leadership for fairness. Rangel Velez Zarate is an Assistant Professor at San Bernardino Valley College, specializing in creating a supportive environment for Filipino/a/x American college students affected by racially-motivated violence during the COVID period. Zarate, a mixed-race individual of Filipino and Mexican descent, uses his upbringing in the Inland Empire to shape his work. Growing up, he navigated between Asian and Latino cultures, eventually embracing his Chicano roots. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree, he explores his Filipino heritage while advocating for Asian American and Pacific Islander students in higher education. Through my work in educational studies, theories, and practical applications, I aim to analyze, comprehend, and recommend strategies for improvement. I specialize in areas such as vocational and technical education, industry certifications, educational leadership, higher education, performance assessment, educational technology, training, labor relations, and project management. Recently honored as a national CTE research fellow at ECMC Foundation for the 2022-23 term, I also hold a position on the Board of Directors at YSET Academy in Springfield, MA. Brandon Lim, M.Ed Raised in Southern California, Brandon is a lifelong learner and practitioner of cultural storytelling. He identifies as a q***r Filipino American and first-generation graduate student who manifests joy through cooking, reading, writing, and music. Following Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Journalism-Media Studies, Brandon earned his Master of Education in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs. As an emerging student affairs professional and educator devoted to elevating minoritized and underrepresented communities through equity-minded service and advocacy, he has striven to create and hold space for students to grow their passions, intellect, and wellness practices.
