A table shaped by Lebanese tradition.

Each issue, Spree Food Editor Christa Glennie rounds up the latest restaurant openings across WNY. Among this month’s most exciting additions: Loulou Cuisine.

From the brothers behind downtown Buffalo's Hearth + Press, the new Lebanese restaurant at Hertel and Main pairs authentic cuisine with a welcoming atmosphere, adding a fresh new dining destination to North Buffalo.

“A long summer weekend devoted to this compelling grape and the regions that do it best.”

That’s how Christa Glennie, Food Editor at Buffalo Spree magazine, describes the International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration (i4C).

Christa captures what makes i4C so distinct:

“Having this many serious producers pouring over one weekend… is a genuinely rare thing.”

Her advice?

“Taste wines you have never encountered, meet the people who made them.”

And the outcome?

“Leave with a much wider picture of what cool climate Chardonnay looks like around the world.”

Her final word?

“For anyone who loves wine and this corner of the world, this kind of access is a memorable experience.”

Read all of Christa’s words in her Buffalo Spree article through the link in the comments below. And while you’re on our website, take a look at Event Tickets and join us in Niagara this July.

A canal town becomes a living exhibition.

The Medina Triennial (June 6-September 7) transforms Medina into one of the country’s most ambitious contemporary art experiences, a free, walkable showcase of 39 artists from around the world.

Historic buildings, canal paths, and public spaces all become part of the exhibition.
