The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra's Coffee Concerts season is off to a powerful start. After a dazzling debut by pianist Maxim Lando in Chopin’s Piano Concerto, BPO Concertmaster Nikki Chooi steps into the spotlight with Beethoven’s beloved Violin Concerto (Oct. 17).

Looking ahead: a nature-inspired program featuring Debussy, Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony, and a moving new Triple Concerto by Buffalo native Robert Paterson (Oct. 24–25).
