WE Educate & Dab

Some clients give me the opportunity to work on a project.

Others give me the opportunity to help build something.

WE.ED has definitely been the second.

I've had the opportunity to work alongside WE.ED as they've continued developing their mobile cannabis education and hospitality concept—from marketing materials to festival outreach, sponsorship materials, event preparation and helping communicate exactly what makes their concept different.

It's also a perfect example of why I love working with small businesses and growing brands.

Sometimes marketing isn't about selling one product. It's about taking a big idea and figuring out how to tell its story in a way people understand and remember.

Watching WE.ED continue to grow, build partnerships and make its way into larger events has been incredibly exciting, and I'm proud that Russell Marketing gets to play a role behind the scenes.

Hi! 👋

If you're new here—or you've been following Russell Marketing for a while—I figured it was time for a proper introduction.
I'm Ashley, the owner of Russell Marketing & Design.

What started as graphic design has grown into something much bigger. Today I work with more than 20 businesses and organizations throughout Western New York, helping with everything from social media and branding to promotional materials, event marketing and event coordination.

But what I really do is help small-business owners take some things off their plate.
Because running a business already gives you enough to think about.

Over the next few weeks, I'm going to start showing you a lot more of what happens behind the scenes at Russell Marketing—the client work, events, designs, wins, challenges and everything that goes into helping local businesses get noticed.

Apple Cove farm has Spooky September coming up September 20th, and Russell Marketing & Design has been working behind the scenes to help bring the event together.

For this event, I’ve:
🎨 Designed the official event flyer
📱 Created and set up the event page
📣 Helped promote the event through consistent sharing and reposting
👀 Continued getting the event in front of new audiences
🎪 And on event day, I’ll be there helping with setup and assisting with running the event itself.

This is one of my favorite parts of what I do because my work doesn’t always end when I hit “post.”

Sometimes marketing means designing the materials. Sometimes it means building awareness and keeping people talking about an event. And sometimes it means showing up, getting your hands dirty, and helping make sure everything comes together on event day.
