Reminds me of when I was a kid. Sigh 😔 times were so different then, so magical, full of life, love, family amd COLOR! I love color. I can literally FEEL this picture in my soul. 🫶🏼

What does this kitchen remind you of?

There's something about this kitchen that instantly takes you back.

The avocado green refrigerator. The dark wood cabinets. The patterned wallpaper. The harvest colors. Even the little radio sitting on the shelf.

Nothing matches the bright, minimal kitchens we’re used to seeing today, and somehow that’s exactly what gives it so much personality.

This was the era when kitchens weren’t afraid of color or pattern. Brown, gold, orange and green could all exist in the same room, usually with enough wallpaper to cover every available wall.

And for anyone who grew up around a kitchen like this, the memories probably go far beyond the decor.

When youre thrifting at the way overpriced Goodwill Goodwill Industries International and youre listening to the manager literally telling an employee to pull the color tags of the week off the floor!! 🤬🤬 

I mean, I knew they did that. I knew they did, but to hear 👂 them speaking of it in front of customers when I was clearly within ears 👂 range is maddening to me.! it made me really feel some type of way lol 😝

It’s bad enough items are way overpriced now, or that they literally hold items and don’t put them on the floor so they can auction them off on Whatnot or other sites. It makes me crazy. I was in there literally looking for something for my granddaughter, & the prices went up since the last time I was there it’s just so ridiculous. They get this s**t for free. 🤬 🤷🏻‍♀️ 

End of my rant sorry not sorry lol listening to that conversation just pushed a button that I didn’t need pushed lol 😂
