A little behind-the-scenes story about how Penelope Prints Studio came to be...

I recently had the opportunity to share a little more of that story with VoyageATL.

Most people see the vending machine at an event, but there are a lot of late nights, design revisions, and cups of coffee behind every sticker and temporary tattoo that comes out of it.

When I started Penelope Prints Studio, I never imagined I’d be featured sharing the story behind the business. I’m grateful to VoyageATL for the opportunity to talk about the creative side of the business, how it all started, and the inspiration behind it.

And yes, Penelope Prints Studio is named after my 15-year-old cat, Penelope (“Stink”), who supervises every design from her spot next to my desk.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this small business, booked an event, purchased artwork, shared a post, or cheered me on along the way. It means more than you know.

A couple of weeks ago, I brought my custom sticker vending machine to a corporate event in downtown Atlanta for a home remodeling company. Instead of my usual wedding designs, guests could create and collect stickers featuring the company’s own branding and artwork.

One of my favorite things about this machine is how easily it adapts to different events. While weddings are still my specialty, branded sticker experiences are also a fun way to engage guests at corporate events, conferences, trade shows, client appreciation events, and company celebrations.

This setup was right next to Mercedes-Benz Stadium as the city was preparing for FIFA, making for a pretty cool Atlanta backdrop. Stick around for the final shot to see the machine and custom sticker designs setup.

A surprise wedding gift that nobody saw coming. 💜

These custom tattoos were created just for the couple, and all three designs were gone before the reception ended.

Congratulations to the newlyweds, and a huge thank you to the family friend who made this surprise happen. It was so much fun watching everyone choose their favorites, including the bride.

Three little pieces of their story, turned into stickers 🤍

For their spring wedding, T + S chose custom designs inspired by the things they love most: their pets Juniper and Cannoli, two adorable ducks, and the Piedmont Park skyline where they got engaged.

One of my favorite parts of the night was watching guests discover all three designs and start collecting their favorites from the machine. Tiny details like these always end up becoming part of what people remember most.

A year ago, this was just an idea I hoped people would connect with. ✨

Now somehow, this little sticker vending machine has made its way into weddings, celebrations, corporate events, late night brainstorming sessions, venue load-ins, creative risks, and some truly unforgettable moments over the last year.

It’s amazing all that can happen in just one year.

To every couple, client, planner, venue, friend, family member, fellow vendor, and supporter who believed in this business before it had any reason to be believed in… thank you. Thank you for trusting me to create alongside your biggest celebrations. Thank you for sharing posts, tagging friends, recommending my business in rooms I wasn’t in, and cheering me on every step of the way.

Every booking, referral, comment, share, and recommendation mattered more than you know.

This business has introduced me to so many talented vendors and genuinely kind people, and I’m so grateful to have crossed paths with all of you. Watching guests walk up to the machine, laugh, get excited over custom designs, and leave with something created just for that moment never gets old to me.

What started as a creative idea became a real business, and that honestly still feels surreal some days.
