Exciting news! We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Collier County Mosquito Control District on an innovative project focused on combating disease-carrying mosquitoes, specifically Aedes aegypti, the primary vectors for diseases like dengue, yellow fever, and Zika.

Through Sterile Insect Technique (SIT), the district has been releasing over 650,000 sterile, non-gmo, non-Wolbachia, male mosquitoes over the course of 28 weeks. These male mosquitoes do not bite and are not interested in blood, they feed on nectar. The males mate with the wild population, which makes the eggs non-viable, therefore reducing the total mosquito population —without any need for harmful pesticides.

As pioneers in this eco-friendly approach, we are confident about the significant impact it can have on public health and the environment, helping to create safer, healthier communities.
