The most exhausting thing about being one of the smartest and most self-aware women in the room is that you can see yourself doing it and still can’t stop.

Here’s why that keeps happening and it’s got NOTHING to do with how smart you are. ❌

I’ve been there.

Pouring into people I cared about, seeing their potential so clearly, wanting the outcome for them more than they wanted it for themselves.

But I bypassed the signal I felt every time.

You might think it’s a character flaw.

It’s actually your brain doing exactly what it’s designed to do = PROTECT.

The way it protects you is by running the most familiar story on file. 🗄️

The one that sounds like loyalty…

like love..

the one that sounds like if I just give a little more it’ll click for them.

So the signal gets overridden. Every time.

🪴 You can see someone’s potential and believe in them completely.

You can hold the door open with everything you’ve got.

But it’s their responsibility to walk through it.

The moment you start wanting more for people than they want for themselves you’ve been investing in an account that only you are funding.

This is exactly what I help my clients work through.

It’s not the situation.

It’s the part of her that keeps saying yes when everything inside her is saying no. 🙅🏽‍♀️

If this is hitting close to home, DM me “DONE” and let’s uncover what’s really driving your decisions, your relationships and why you keep overriding the two things that have never actually lied to you..

your body and your intuition. ✨

You know what’s surprisingly hard when you’re used to being the woman who handles everything?

Doing absolutely nothing. 😂

Here’s the thing nobody tells you about that…

if you can’t tell the difference between what truly belongs to you and what you’ve just picked up along the way, you will be depleted.

Your body, your relationships, your work, SOMETHING will eventually make you stop.

Mine did. I fainted from burnout. 😵‍💫

That’s how I finally learned what was actually MY responsibility and what I’d just volunteered to handle for everyone else.

🌎 After months of nonstop travel, I came home and my body basically said, yah, we’re not doing anything today.

So I worked from bed.

Jorge and I watched movies. We ordered Postmates for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 😆

I didn’t work out. I didn’t hit my 20K steps for the first time in months.

When I actually stopped, I noticed something.

I hadn’t just been keeping up with my own to-do list…

I’d taken on other people’s stress, moods, and problems like they were mine to fix too.

None of that I was actually accountable for.

I now hear myself faster.

I know what’s mine and what isn’t, and I trust that read instead of second guessing it.

A few days later I was hosting an All Hands for 600+ employees, fully present for every person in that room, without taking any of it home with me.

That’s the actual win.

‼️ That I know how to be in a high demand room and leave what isn’t mine exactly where it belongs.

So ask yourself this:

Where in your life are you still doing someone else’s job for them? 🤨

One of the hidden costs of being a high-performing female leader is constantly thinking about what’s next…

and before you know it, another season has come and gone. 🥹

I blinked and somehow we’re already heading into Q4.

Last week, I spent the week in Kauai with my sister, our kids, family, and friends. 🌺

Nothing fancy.

Just low key beach days, sunrise walks, long meals, and watching the kids be kids. ⛱️

Somewhere during the trip, I had this random thought…

‼️ This is the life I’ve worked so hard to build.

Then I remembered something I read that definitely messed with me.

The average person only gets about 80 summers.

That’s it. 😳

I literally stopped and thought…

“Wait… how many have I already had?” 😭

That hit me hella hard.

I think so many of us are always chasing the next thing.

✔️ The next achievement.

✔️ The next goal.

✔️ The next quarter.

Meanwhile…

Life is happening RIGHT NOW.

There was a time when I would’ve been in Kauai physically…

…but mentally?

Back in my inbox. 📥

Thinking about everything waiting for me at home.

This trip felt different.

For once, there were no decisions to make.

Nothing to solve.

I was just…

BEing. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Maybe that’s exactly where you are right now.

Checking all the boxes.

Building the career.

Growing the business.

Taking care of everyone else…

…while forgetting to fully experience the life you’ve worked so hard to create.

I’ve been there.

I’ve learned that the goal isn’t just to build a beautiful life.

It’s to actually LIVE it.

Because one day…

we’ll all run out of summers. 😔

If this hit home, maybe what you’re craving isn’t more time off…

Maybe you’re craving the version of you who feels peaceful, present, and fully alive again.

If you’re a high-performing female leader who’s gone through a divorce and you’re ready to rediscover unwavering self-belief and trust, DM me “ALIVE.” I’d love to support you. 💗

It’s been an incredible week at one of the world’s largest aerospace events. 🛩️🌍

Walking through aircraft displays, exhibitions, meeting leaders from around the world, sitting in executive receptions, and sharing the experience with Jorge made this trip another priceless memory.

What most people on here probably don’t know is that I’ve spent nearly three decades working alongside senior executives.

I’ve had a front-row seat to how exceptional leaders think, make decisions, navigate pressure, and carry enormous responsibility.

I’ve also had a front-row seat to something else…

titles don’t protect you from heartbreak, and success on paper doesn’t always translate into peace at home. ‼️

That realization is one of the biggest reasons I do what I do today.

I’ve had the privilege of learning from extraordinary leaders, and today I bring those lessons, combined with my own lived experience, to mentor high-performing female leaders who’ve gone through one of life’s most challenging chapters and rebuilt successfully on the other side.

Yet what most of them don’t see are the hidden drivers still shaping how they lead, how they trust, and how they show up, even years later.

The biggest reminder is remembering how every season of your life has been preparing you for the next one.

Feeling incredibly grateful for this week, the conversations, the perspective, and especially getting to share part of it with Jorge. 💝

This was the first 4th of July weekend in a very long time that actually felt like mine.

My body said chillll and of course, after learning my lesson when I fainted due to burnout, I listened. 😅

Between jumping back from Barcelona at full speed, being the best mom I can be to my boys, building my home office and going to Lowe’s and Home Depot for materials but not knowing what to look for, getting my personal challenge steps in, and serving my clients at the highest level, this 4th of July weekend my body had one request…

STAY HOME. 🏡

So that’s exactly what I did and I LOVED LOVED LOVED every minute of it!

Turns out the most productive thing I did this weekend was nothing at all.

Can anyone else relate? 🙋🏽‍♀️

What if the life you’ve been trying to fix was never the actual problem?

The secret was never out there.

It’s always been inside you.

My clients who have decided to bet on themselves and walk through the door of inner work don’t just change their lives, they collapse time doing it.

With love and belief in you,
Sherille 💗

My sister was right. Again. 😅

She’d been telling me the entire time leading up to this trip to just check my bag. Less hassle, but I didn’t listen because I didn’t want to part with my stuff…

and the universe said ok, we’ll handle that for you. 😆

Here’s what happened on my way to Barcelona:

🫠 My carry-on didn’t fit on the first plane so I ended up checking it in anyway

🫠 I forgot to tell them I had a connecting flight so I went on a full bag hunt through Calgary airport

🫠 Customs flagged my toiletries + makeup because Canada doesn’t play about liquids

🫠 Had to leave the security line, go alllll the way back to check in, and wait 2 hours because they don’t open bag check until 5 hours before the flight

🫠 Back through security again, now carrying a 40lbs duffel bag for the next 7 hours because my rollaway was now checked in

Every step, every terminal, every escalator 40 freaking pounds 😆🤣

Here’s what’s interesting though. I never got mad or irritated. Not even once. I actually laughed at myself at the ridiculousness.

This isn’t because I’m naturally chill, but because I’ve spent YEARS excavating myself from the inside out and that’s what it actually does. It shifts your default.

📣 A problem is only a problem if you decide it’s one. When you’ve done the real work that decision happens before the emotion even shows up.

Every time something went sideways I just asked one question: What’s the solution?

✔️ Lost bag. Solution.

✔️ Toiletries on full display. Solution.

✔️ 40lbs duffel bag for seven hours. Fine, I wanted my steps and a workout anyway. 😂

✔️ 7 hour layover. Unbothered.

My sister told me to let go of it before the trip even started, but I insisted on carrying it anyway.

Sound familiar?

What are you holding onto right now that you already know you need to put down?

That question is where your next era begins.

With love and belief in you,
Sherille 💗

I almost didn’t make it on this trip.

I didn’t want to leave my boys and I had too much to do. I’m also in the middle of building a home office so I had very legit reasons to stay.

I left anyway. ✈️

There was a time I would have talked myself out of this before I even packed a bag.

Everything and everyone else first. Me somewhere at the bottom of the list.

But I retired that version of me a long time ago. Now I’m making priceless memories with my sister and my nieces in Barcelona. 🥹🙏🏽

Sitting on that flight I kept thinking about how long it took me to get here…Not Barcelona, but this version of me.

I wish someone told me that choosing yourself isn’t selfish. Everything you give is better when you’re not running on empty.
