Congratulations to Basement People on this incredible win at the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival. It was such a pleasure working on this project with director Christine Swanson . I’ve been a big fan of Christine’s work for a long time, and this was our first opportunity to collaborate on a short film together. She’s incredibly talented and visionary, and she gave me the space to be creative. I’m so proud of what we were able to accomplish, and I’m looking forward to working together again and helping bring more of her visions to life.
