Award-winning Chicano Comic Book Creator Hector Rodriguez III is a native of the border town of Eagle Pass, Texas. Hector Rodriguez is the creator of the El Peso Hero series and founder of Texas Latino Comic Con. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Chispa Comics, the first direct-to-market Latino comic book publishing house in collaboration with Amp Comics. As well as serving as Director of Development for Masked Republic, where he oversees the creative development of Masked Republic Lucha media properties.
