Wow!

It is such an honor to be a part of this amazing production!

Big thanks to Phil Viardo, Christopher Knight and Cara Kokenes Knight for pushing this doc across the finish line.

It would have never happened without the love and tears from Amy Lang, Kort Waddell and Craig Ordelheide who started it all.

Ty Green, Raymond A. Christ, Brian Waddell, Megan Bouvert and Katie Cordero get extra credit for sleeping and not sleeping in the TRUELOVE motorhome.

Jason Phipps and Mike Sanchez created all the cool graphics and color... along with some dude from Bulgaria or Hungry... Phil can't remember... it was an early morning.

Ty gets even more credit for putting the stories together along with Christine Blake, Amy, Phil and yours truly..

And then Ty edited the whole thing with Phil!

All of us in the Natural 9 Entertainment // Tri-Crown Productions family were honored to work with David Marmel and his amazing wife Elaine on our production companies very first network tv special THE MRS. AMERICA PAGEANT back in 1987.

A man with a GIANT smile, a GIANT personality, GIANT ideas, and a GIANT heart. He demanded ALOT... but GAVE BACK even more.

He had Izzy name sandwich's after Eric and me...
"Pastrami on Rye w/ a pickle and mustard"
"Roast Beef on Wonder Bread w/ mayo"
Guess which one was named "The Ando"?

For more than 20 years we traveled the world. He had an amazing ability to remember the name of every person he met, he made every person on the crew feel important, and sporting his perpetual tan - he could sell underwear to a nudist.

The CUBS are gonna miss his unbroken support... but not as much as we will miss such an extraordinary man.

Here's to David and his everlasting memory.
