For over 30 years, KAPPA STUDIOS has been a landmark film & TV post-production facility in the Burbank, CA media district down the street from Disney, Warner Bros. Over the past decade, Kappa president Paul Long became increasingly concerned with the content of projects that Kappa was servicing. Paul had a growing desire to only participate in projects that uplift the culture and promote a Christi

an worldview, and his convictions increasingly caused him to turn away work. After much prayer, Paul did what is unprecedented and unthinkable in Hollywood: he walked away from money and pivoted the company to only serve faith & family friendly projects. With the same commitment to provide the highest level studio quality, Kappa is now positioned to service your film, TV or digital project at “faith & family friendly pricing.” And in addition to post-production, Kappa has expanded its services to include assisting our clients with distribution and marketing. We’ve also launched our non-profit 501c3 Christian Film Finishing Fund.

We're editing season 6. If you saw season 5 you know what comes next. One of our assistant editors - with 30 yrs experience - calls this the hardest thing emotionally he's ever had to do. He finds himself broken and saying, "God, I'm sorry you had to go through this." If a crew member, whose job it is to log and categorize raw footage is this moved... how impactful will this season be to the rest of the world?

As we all process current events... maybe today is a good day to reach out to a neighbor and invite them over. As we work on season 6, maybe you can introduce them to seasons 1-5. And maybe, just maybe... God will use it to bring us closer together.

We're humbled... Because we worked on 6 of the 10 Dove Award nominees for film & TV, we're starting to receive some press. (We did a Fox interview yesterday). Here's a nice Q&A with Jubilee. Our success is just an opportunity to thank God for allowing us to be a part of such incredible projects.

Humbled & thankful. 2025 Dove Award Nominees announced. We had the privilege of working on 6 of the 10. Back in 2016 when Paul pivoted the company to wholeheartedly pursue Christ - and business plummeted - we never could have seen this coming. All glory to God!
