Paul had a growing desire to only participate in projects that uplift the culture and promote a Christi

an worldview, and his convictions increasingly caused him to turn away work. After much prayer, Paul did what is unprecedented and unthinkable in Hollywood: he walked away from money and pivoted the company to only serve faith & family friendly projects. It was crazy impressive LAST weekend when The Chosen: Last Supper PART 1 (a TV show) opened as the # 3 ‘movie’ in the country. But THIS weekend it drops to # 7 (which is respectable) only to have The Chosen: Last Supper PART 2 now debut # 3!

Too funny. Last weekend “THE CHOSEN: LAST SUPPER” opened #3 in the country. This week it dropped to #9. All good. Problem is “The Chosen: Last Supper” ALSO opened #2 this week. It’s #2 AND #9! A misprint? Nope. Confusing? Apparently 😂

Fans know that “The Chosen: Last Supper” is really the upcoming season 5 of the TV series being released in advance in theaters a couple episodes at a time… but those reporting the box office may not have known that (which is reasonable because it’s never been done before)… and not knowing what to call this ‘NEW’ The Chosen: Last Supper ‘movie’ they went with “Episode #5.3 / Episode #5.4 / Episode #5.5” which makes absolutely no sense to an outsider but is correct! 😂 (Season 5, episodes 3, 4 & 5 shown back to back). So my two takeaways are…

1. How crazy is it that upcoming TV episodes played in theaters hold 2 of top 10 box office spots for ‘movies’

2. I believe the first catchphrase for the show was “get used to different” (this different enough?)

premiere a few hours away. Even after 5 seasons as the post-production home we still have little perspective how massive this show has become. I guess that happens when you spend your days in edit bays, color rooms, and mix stages! For whatever our role is we’re thankful to be involved and hope you love SEASON 5! 🔥🎉🙌🏻

In December of 1980 Annie Leibovitz took the most iconic photo in rock 'n' roll history - the famous John & Yoko Polaroid for the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. Hours after that photo was taken John Lennon was shot and killed.

Over four decades later the legendary photographer has given us another set of iconic images that will also no doubt stand the test of time as among her finest work.

In 1965 John Lennon famously said, "The Beatles are more popular than Jesus now." Perhaps in terms of pop-culture at the time he may have been right. Perhaps if there was internet back then The Beatles, indeed, would have generated more 'clicks.'

With no disrespect whatsoever intended at the legacy of John Lennon, here we are 60 years after his famous quote and, while The Beatles are still often considered the greatest rock 'n' roll band ever... it's safe to say they're not as popular as Jesus. What's more... at this specific moment in history, they may not be as popular as a show ABOUT Jesus.

Regardless, Annie Leibovitz is an exceptional artist who has captured exceptional moments.

But there's a crazy irony about all of this. John Lennon was killed shortly after Ms. Leibovitz took the photo.

Similarly, the actual event (The Last Supper) that The Chosen is recreating and Ms. Leibovitz has photographed also involves a central figure who was killed shortly after.

But that's where the similarity ends.

John Lennon said, "Imagine there's no heaven..."

Jesus says "Whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life."
