Our campaign was unexpectedly flagged and taken down, resulting in all contributions being refunded. While we can’t recover the original donations, we’re relaunching with fresh determination, and we need your help to cross the finish line!

Nothing says ‘saving cinema’ like slapping 100% tariffs on films made outside the U.S. Surprising? Not when you’ve watched filmmaking used as a pawn in trade wars for years. Global storytelling thrives on collaboration, not protectionist tantrums.

But sure, let’s punish the U.K. crews who saved your Marvel movies, drive budgets into the stratosphere, and invite China to retaliate by banning U.S. films altogether. Genius.

It’s still a tough time for the industry. As someone who’s seen the highs and lows of Hollywood’s heartbeat, this piece from the LA Times hits hard. LA’s production landscape is struggling—sound stages sit empty, shoot days are declining, and the ripple effect on local crews and businesses is undeniable. Whether it’s lingering fallout from the strikes, streaming shifts, or economic pressures, the challenges are real.

But here’s what I know: This industry is resilient. Let’s not just wait for the rebound—let’s advocate for solutions, support local creatives, and keep pushing for stories that matter. If you’ve felt this slowdown, drop a comment. How are you navigating it?
