Last night, Robert & Billie made its television debut on PBS alongside the Ellis Trail To Nicodemus Documentary! The program will be airing twice more on July 18 and 20. If you’re outside of the coverage area for Smoky Hills PBS, the program will also be available on the PBS app or at www.smokyhillspbs.org

On Saturday, Robert & Billie screened in the Township Hall of Nicodemus, KS, the very building where the eponymous couple met and began their love story seventy years ago! The film was shown as part of this year’s Chautauqua celebration before the premiere of Angela Bates’ extended “Ellis Trail to Nicodemus” documentary, and the program received a standing ovation from the crowd!

Thanks to the Nicodemus Historical Society and Angela Bates, the staff of Nicodemus National Historic Site and the National Park Service, and all those who came out for a great afternoon of history and community!
