A crime spree is growing in American Smash Week Thirty-Six. After a jewelry store is cleaned out, Hero and Sidekick find evidence connecting the robbery to an earlier theft. Then they spot another hit across the street, this time an electronics store. Someone is grabbing everything they can carry, and Hero vows to bring the mysterious thief’s spree to an end.

A new villain tries to tie Hero and Sidekick in knots in American Smash Week Thirty-Five. Shoelace uses rope-based attacks to wrap up the heroes, but Hero quickly turns the tables by using her own ropes against her. What starts as a dangerous rooftop showdown ends with Shoelace hopelessly tangled and Sidekick reminding Hero that he has a talent for ruining dramatic moments.

Before the battle can begin, a nursing home attendant arrives to es**rt the frustrated ninja away, leaving him with nothing but his dignity... and five bucks.

A slippery new threat arrives in American Smash Week Twenty-Nine. The Grease Monkeys turn the streets into an oil-slick obstacle course, sending Hero tumbling at every turn. While Hero unintentionally provides the slapstick, Sidekick keeps her footing and washes the crooks away with the perfect counterattack.
