According to her animal rights foundation, Bardot died Sunday at her home in southern France.

repost from Colorado Boulevard will close to motor vehicles earlier than in prior years for the staging of the January 1, 2026, Tournament of Roses Parade beginning at 10:00 pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. It will remain closed through the conclusion of the staging and clean-up following the parade. The parade route will reopen by 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

To expedite travel in or through the downtown area, please use:
• Walnut St. or the 210 fwy. for east/west travel north of Colorado Blvd.,
• Del Mar Blvd. or Cordova St. for east/west travel south of Colorado Blvd.
• Crossings noted on the map for north/south travel from 10 pm on 12/31 – 6 am on 1/1.

A 5k race from Pasadena Ave to Hill St. will take place at midnight to ring in the New Year. The following intersections will close to cross traffic at 11 pm and re-open at the end of the race (noted from west to east): Pasadena Ave, El Molino Ave, Fair Oaks Ave, Marengo Ave, Los Robles Ave, El Molino Ave, Lake Ave, and Wilson Ave.

If you plan to host an event, viewing party, or anticipate vendor deliveries, and your property’s access is via Colorado Blvd., please let your guests and vendors know that they must arrive prior to 10:00 pm or park in areas without restricted parking and walk in.

The Shelter-in-Place order remains in effect.
Many residents outside of the affected area have reported smelling gas. This is normal, as gas odors can travel for miles depending on weather conditions.
