Breaking News: Barren County Judge Executive Jamie Bewley Byrd and Executive Director of Barren County Economic Authority Maureen Carpenter are on site of the recently announced property sold to Union Coating & Chemical Industries. An Egyptian Company to invest $11,900,000 and create 60 new jobs in Glasgow, Barren County, KY. Establishing the first U.S. manufacturing facility in Kentucky is a significant expansion for Union Coating & Chemical Industries and an honor for our community in being chosen.
