Well, it’s been a week and I’m STILL working on getting my latest project just right. My problem is I’m searching for the right type of backing for this project. These are 18x24” so they’re large, and that means they’re going to be heavy when finished.

The epoxy and cut glass pieces are heavy by themselves, so I’m worried the glass I had planned to use is just going to make them too fragile (and heavy). So now I’m thinking maybe MDF, or balsa wood may be what I should use, weight is also a concern, because most likely these pieces will be shipped. I’m really hoping I’ll be able to get them done SOON…

These are turning out really cute. I still want to paint the edges and reseal them again after that. They’ll be dishwasher safe, but I’d recommend hand washing instead. So far it’s a set of 6; I may decide to add two more.

Yall, I am so sorry I have been MIA the past week or so. My life has been crazy busy, but today is Wednesday and I do want to share some beach theme coasters with you that I am doing. I’ll have them done in a couple of hours and then I’ll post a pic.

Here are a couple of projects I did this morning for my husband. I still have a couple more I’d like to do, but I’ve run out of time for today. So, those will have to be done for next year. Once I finish them I’ll go ahead and post them just so y’all can see.
