The hour long prime-time special featured vignettes direct from the Charles Schulz comic strips, the second type special after 1982’s “A Charlie Brown Celebration” and continued on the saturday morning series “The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show” (1983-1984).

Celebrating its 43rd anniversary today, the special features stories about camp (“Sack”), caddies, kites, music, Sally, butterflies, blankets and Woodstock.🪁
