I’m sitting here getting ready to do my annual NYE journaling tradition (with my new fab journal from ✨) so filled with gratitude and excitement for the year ahead. 🫶🏼

2025 was a big year for the podcast! We…
💟 Were one of five finalists in the 2025 Seven Daysies for the first time ever
💟 Reached over 60 episodes (62 to be exact!)
💟 Increased our total audience size by 116% from last year (according to the show’s Spotify for Creators stats)
.and had so many amazing conversations with Vermont creatives! Thank you so much to all of my Abstract VT guests and listeners. I couldn’t do this show without all of you and your incredible stories & talent!

Loved hearing more from on the latest Abstract VT episode about her many gigging stories (including a bear sighting 🐻 apparently! 😳🤣).

Had so many great takeaways from my chat with Troy last Sunday about his music and podcast ! 🎶🎧

What stuck out to me as a fellow podcast host was Troy’s thoughts on how to be an effective host who invites guests to speak on what they’re most passionate about.

There are so many good bits and stories from this episode as we chatted all about Troy’s full-time work as a musician and podcaster and the many incredible musicians and people he has met and befriended along the way.

While Abstract VT didn’t take home “Best Local Podcast” at this year’s Seven Daysies, I was honored to attend the party as a finalist. 🎙️🎉 It was my first time attending the party, and the very first time I had ever been on the ballot.

It was a fantastic experience, and I’m truly grateful to everyone who voted and supported the show.

Thank you to Seven Days for hosting such a great event and for continuing to uplift the Vermont community. ❤️
