Visited The Rosemary at Elon for the first time last night and loved it! Great atmosphere and delicious food! Will definitely be going back.

Petite filet
Watermelon radish halibut
Meatloaf
Grilled pork chop

Along with delicious sides like risotto, potatoes, and asparagus. So good!

What are y’all thinking for lunch today? We’re thinking baked spaghetti! It may wind up being breakfast. 😅

Crazy question but constructive feedback always appreciated! Would you ever be interested in something like a “dish of the week” that you could order and pick up for a dinner or family gathering or to deliver to someone?

For example, if the dish of the week was our favorite chicken casserole, you could order one cooked, or prepared but not cooked and oven-ready, or frozen, would you be interested? And what do you feel would be a reasonable cost? Full-size would be 9x13 full casserole size or half-size.

T loves this idea but we just don’t know if there would be any interest or if the cost / time would make any sense.

Dinner for the new parents last night - we have a new grandbaby in case we’ve not mentioned 40-11 times! 😍 We’ve not had a chance to cook in a while and we put together our favorite chicken casserole (and made enough to freeze us one!) and some good ol’ green beans and potatoes. Gah, it looked and smelled so good, and it felt good making it!

What’s your go to recipe/meal for dropping off to others?

Good morning to you all!

This prayer is for anyone who needs it today. I surely do!

Dear Heavenly Father,

You see our restlessness.
Our minds bounce
from this to that and back again,
and often,
it is in the darkness before day.
We are tired.

We relive things
that have already happened,
imagine things that might,
we replay conversations
that can’t be unsaid,
think thoughts that may never
need to be thought,
and try to carry things
that aren’t ours to carry.

Some days, it almost seems
that if our worries even try
to slip away,
we run after them,
as if we’re not ready to let them go.
Sounds crazy, I know.
But here we are.

Help us to stop chasing,
bouncing,
running,
carrying,
trying to solve
or have all the answers.

When Fear and Worry
knock at our door,
could You send Your Peace
to lock the deadbolt?
Or better yet,
may Your Peace open the door
and lead them away.

Lord, calm the storm in our thoughts and silence the noise in our minds. Remind us of You at every turn.
When our minds go to that replay, that what if, that fear at the door,
may we see You instead.

At every turn, Lord, at every turn.

What are all of you doing for New Year’s Eve?

We must confess that we don’t really do a lot of anything. Maybe set an alarm for 11:57 to wake up and watch the ball drop! 🥳😁😴

T did decide to cook a creamy butter and herb cheese tortellini dish for dinner, one we’ve never had, we’ll have a little wine, and then put on pajamas. 😂.
