It was a lovely night at the The Ol' H***y Tonk Tuesday Band w/ Brett Hughes & Friends - Backside 405 last night. So many great memories were brought back and so many friends were there! Here are some videos from the show that you might enjoy.

For those of you who don't know yet, or didn't know Monique Ford, she was the unofficial Queen of Burlington and heartbreakingly passed away last weekend. If you ever attended a show at Higher Ground or were a patron of Three Needs, you probably ran into her by way of her serving you a delicious beverage and checking in to see how you and your family are doing. She always took the time to chat and is one of the most genuine people I've ever met. There has been a wonderful outpouring of love and support from her friends and family this week and I am surprised this hasn't been shared here yet. There is a fundraiser going for expenses as well as a future celebration of life for her, which will most likely happen later this summer. Monique was one in a million and touched the hearts of so many. If you are interested, please check out the fundraiser and keep her and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. Higher Ground and Lost Nation Brewing present “Runnin’ Down A Dream,” an all star tribute to Tom Petty and benefit concert for The WaterWheel Foundation.

Two years ago we lost Tom Petty, a true North Star in music. Heartbroken, we piled all our friends into the ballroom and sang the guts out of as many songs as possible. It was a royal celebration and a bittersweet farewell. The show sold out and raised a few thousand dollars for Burlington’s Turning Point Center along the way.

Win-win, right? It absolutely was, but …

Tom Petty has so so sooooo many good songs and there's no way the band could play them all in just one night. After two years we're ready to celebrate the Tom Petty songbook again and we're extremely excited to partner with our phriends at The WaterWheel Foundation to raise funds for Lake Champlain. Runnin' Down A Dream will feature a Vermont all star line up and some very special guests.
