Misunderstandings happen in the quiet moments—when we think we know what someone meant but never check to be sure. A text message, a tone, or even silence can shift a relationship without a single word being said.

The problem isn’t always what’s said—it’s what’s assumed. When we fill in the blanks with our own story, we risk missing the truth entirely. Clarity requires courage. It means asking, even when it feels uncomfortable.

If something feels off, don’t retreat—reach out. A quick question like, “Can you help me understand what you meant?” can rebuild connection faster than any apology after the fact.
When meaning gets missed, empathy is the bridge back. Most of the time, people aren’t against you—they’re just misunderstood.

And in business, they reveal insight you’d never find by talking over someone.��The truth is, questions build bridges that statements never could.��So the next time you’re unsure what to say, don’t fill the silence - use it.
