🚨 Heads up, Burlington! 🚨
Summer school is still going for three more weeks, which means those big yellow school buses are out and about — and so are the kids.

If you see a bus with flashing red lights and the stop sign out, that means STOP. Not “slow down a little” or “just sneak by real quick.” It means full stop, both directions (unless you’re on a divided highway — which, let’s be honest, we don’t see much of around here).

We get it — you’ve got places to be. But nothing is more important than keeping kids safe.

So keep your eyes open, stay off your phone, and give the bus plenty of room. Let’s all do our part to make sure every kid gets to and from school safely.

Thanks, Burlington! ❤️

Showers and thunderstorm, some severe, are possible tonight and into Tuesday morning. Strong gusty winds are the main threat.

07/02/2025

A few slightly warmer days ahead, then rain chances increase Independence Day through the weekend.

06/30/2025

Thunderstorms will redevelop later Tonight and continue into the early morning hours of Monday. A few storms may be strong to severe with isolated damaging wind gusts, small hail, and heavy rainfall. The storms may linger into Monday morning but should push east of the area by Monday afternoon. It will be dry and a bit cooler into mid week.
