Our Story

Bradford County Ledger is the work of Patrick & Valerie Cartwright. The Cartwright's recently moved back to the area after a brief move to South Carolina, where they were introduced to Paul Kirby of the Lexington Ledger an all-digital newspaper for Lexington County South Carolina.

Knowing the frustration local residents have with the fact that they have to pay to read articles online, and seeing the great work of Paul Kirby and how he ran his news outlet, Patrick said to "Bradford County needs its own ledger" so Bradford County Ledger was born.

We are dedicated to unbias, quality reporting and providing our articles free to our readers always.
