Congrats to our seniors on the Headwaters Magazine Leadership Team who graduated this past weekend!
Avery has been with the mag since her sophomore year, and has been our Managing Designer and VP for the last year. She designed the spectacular layout and cover for the Spring 26 issue, for which we are eternally grateful and awe-inspired. Avery has contributed countless hours as an editor, artist, designer, and on-the-fly Creative Director; we will miss her greatly and wish her all the best in her PhD at OSU in the fall! 😽🤠💌
Loden has been an editor for Headwaters for 8 semesters, since their first semester of freshman year. They have been a part of the Leadership Team for two years, first as Managing Editor, then as Editor-in-Chief and club President this last year. Loden has grown and led our beloved mag as an editor, writer, sticker maker, and enthusiastic presence over the years; Headwaters would not be the same without them. We will miss them eternally and wish them luck in all their future adventures back home in Minnesota. 🌾🐛💌
Lastly, but most certainly not least, our dear Managing Editor, Alma. Alma has also been with Headwaters since her sophomore year, and has been a grounding and consistent presence on our editorial team. She’s got a knack for a nice alliteration and a punny title, writing and illustrating her own excellent pieces, and being a wonderful friend. We could not have done it without her, and wish her nothing but the very best in her next chapter. 🌟🫂💌
