MCTV has been a long time coming... Starting back in 1999, with the guidance of then Superintendant Dave Runk, Roger Herto & Matt Moore were on a mission was to create a cable-tv government-educational TV outlet for Mifflin County. With major grants from community organizations like MC2000... Mifflin County Communities That Care... and major startup costs provided by Mifflin County, the Mifflin County School District, and Lewistown Borough, Nittany Media, Inc., MCTV is now a reality. The channel is maintained by the Media 3 students at Mifflin County High School. We are on cable with all Comcast and Nittany Media Cable subscribers in Mifflin County, and an on-line version is available at www.mctvonline.org
