Having run so many lists about the best albums, songs, musicians and tours, Rolling Stone has now turned to the animal kingdom for its latest list, "The 30 Best Songs About Cats."

Claiming that cats are "the coolest, smoothest, most mysterious members of the animal kingdom," the list includes a wide range of artists, including David Bowie, Elton John, Prince, Al Stewart, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, The Kinks, Ted Nugent, and of course, The Stray Cats.

Waves of Defeat is the independent rock/metal project of Eric Jensen, based in Elko New Market, Minnesota. Jensen writes and produces the music himself, with much of the Waves of Defeat catalog focusing on anxiety, pressure, depression, and the struggles people often carry without talking about them.

Released on August 14, 2026, “You’re Not the Only One” tackles anxiety and depression head-on, carrying the message that even when you’re struggling silently, you’re not alone.

The song has already been getting attention at rock radio, including being voted a recent Rockin’ “The Dark” New Music Poll winner on 94 Rocks KFML.

And today, you’ll hear more than just the song. I’ll also be talking with Eric Jensen about the story and meaning behind “You’re Not the Only One.”

Carrie Underwood surprised the crowd at Iowa's Velocity Festival on Saturday with a couple of nu-metal covers, performing songs by Collective Soul, Papa Roach, and Linkin Park. She closed with Limp Bizkit's 1999 hit "Break Stuff," wearing a backward red cap to channel frontman Fred Durst. Underwood let the crowd handle the explicit lyrics, sparking mixed reactions online.

Noel Gallagher has fueled speculation that Oasis will tour again in 2027. During an appearance on talkSPORT's Drive, Gallagher joked about brother Liam's social media absence, saying, "Well, then there must be something happening." He added, "There's no football tournament on next year, so we've got to do something in the summer, right?" Reports suggest the band may return to Knebworth, where they famously performed to 250,000 fans across two nights in 1996. After wrapping London shows during their 2025 reunion tour, Gallagher told the crowd, "See you next year!" Meanwhile, Oasis will release a new IMAX documentary, Don't Look Back in Anger, on September 11th, created by Peaky Blinders' Steven Knight, before arriving on Hulu and Disney+.

Noel Gallagher hinted that Oasis will tour in the summer of 2027.
