Here's a follow up from our video yesterday. If you missed it, go check it out to see how it looks after 4 years. Beautiful Techo Bloc Brandon retaining wall in Champlain Gray with Piedimonte caps in Onyx Black and Travertina slab pavers in Ivory.

Our client was ready to move on from the ongoing maintenance of the wooden deck. What a gorgeous and long-lasting set of materials to enjoy for the next 50+ years!

Here's a deeper dive into the throwback project we posted 2 days ago.

For these clients, they wished to expand the usable pool areas, add a spot for adults to sit while kids were in the shallow end of the pool, and have a nighttime gathering space under the pergola with a fire table.

What made this space larger was the installation of a 150' long retaining wall. The wall allowed us to build vertical and fill in the spaces creating a more expansive environment.

We blended two different paver colors - brown and gray to pull off colors from the concrete apron, stone pillars, and the white house.

Look at the before and after regarding the staircase! Before the staircase cut right down the middle of the patio and blocked a view to the retention pond in the distance. Modifying that alone, transitioning it into a spiral staircase off to the side, opened up the backyard and these clients were over the moon about how much bigger their backyard felt.
