Providing audio reinforcement, video production, video projection screens, projectors, event hosting, sound system rental and sales, music and competition logistics and consultation for the spirit industry. Founded in 2005 as a partnership between audio guru Nick Anderson of Nick At Night DJ Service and video guru Alan Lockwood of Lockwood Media Group. The CheerAV Group quickly grew from working w

ith regional youth league competitions around Motown to powering many of the spirit industry's largest events all over the country. We've provided audio and video for leading brands including The JAM Brands, Varsity, UCA, UDA, JAMfest, Midwest Cheer, GLCC, Coastal, LIVE!, COA, National Cheer Stars, CCE, and many more. Finals tour, the first ever MAJORS event and JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals. We've won a national award for the "best coach's party" at the Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando Florida. I watched this last night for the first time in 25 years. It’s odd seeing it now after working in the spirit industry for 20 years. One thing I noticed was that they only had seven panels on their mat at nationals. Interesting how things change through the years.

COACHES: We keep hearing rumors about a big change to the low battery pop-up when your phone reaches 20% battery. Supposedly the new iOS 26 launching this fall will make a BIG deal of it and probably stop the music (like it does now). This has stopped music at our DJ table in the past. Keep your phone charged because you don’t wanna be caught in the 20% battery trap. This fall Apple is jumping from iOS 18 to iOS 26 in an effort to create a naming scheme similar to new car model years.
