🐶 How I Found Choco's Mobile Groomer (And What It Taught Me About Social Media)
I work in social media marketing, so you'd think I'd find Choco's groomer on Instagram, right?

Nope. I Googled "mobile groomer near me."

Here's my exact customer journey (and what it taught me about how dog owners ACTUALLY find services):

✅ Step 1: Google Search I typed "mobile groomer near me" and immediately started filtering by:
• Reviews (do people trust this person with their dogs?)
• Photos (do the dogs look good? Is this person legit?)
• Pricing info (even a ballpark range so I know if I should bother reaching out)

✅ Step 2: Social Media Stalking Once I found a few options, I checked their Instagram.
But not for cute content—I was looking for:
• Are they actively posting? (Last post from 2022? Pass.)
• Do the dogs look happy and well-groomed?
• Do they show their process, their setup, the before/afters?

I wasn't looking for viral reels. I was looking for PROOF that they know what they're doing.

✅ Step 3: The Website (This is Make-or-Break) I went to their website to find:
• Clear pricing (I need to know if this is even in my budget)
• Easy booking (if I have to email back-and-forth just to get an appointment, I might give up)
• Service details (what's included? How long does it take?)

What Made Me Book: The groomer I chose had clear pricing, recent social media posts showing actual client dogs, and easy online booking.

Done. Booked.

✨ The Lesson:

Your ideal clients START on Google, not Instagram.

They use social media to VET you—to see if you're legit, active, and trustworthy.

But if your Google Business Profile is outdated, your website has no pricing, or booking you is a hassle? They're moving on to the next groomer.

👉 Quick action: This week, Google "[your service] near me" and see what shows up. Is it YOU? Is your info current? Are your reviews recent? Is booking you easy?

That's the starting point for most of your clients.

This is Choco, and he's the reason I'm so passionate about helping dog businesses show up online.

As a dog mom, I've spent HOURS scrolling through Facebook and Instagram trying to find the right groomer, trainer, walker—you name it.

And honestly? Most of the time, I couldn't even tell what they offered or how to book them.

If you're a dog business owner, make it easy for people like me to find you. Update that bio. Pin that post. Add a booking link.

Your future clients (and their pups) will thank you. 🐾

Does your social media profile instantly tell people what you do? 🤔

Let's be real—most dog groomers, trainers, and walkers are working their butts off to get clients.

But then I go to their Instagram or Facebook profile and I have *no idea* what they actually do.

❌ No bio.
❌ No pinned post.
❌ Just random photos of dogs (which, don't get me wrong, I love dogs).

But nothing that tells me:

✅ What service you offer
✅ Where you're located
✅ How to book you

Here's the thing: If someone has to scroll for more than 3 seconds to figure out what you do, **they're gone**.

They're not gonna dig through your posts to figure it out. They're just gonna move on to the next groomer who made it obvious.

So here's what to do:

✅ **Update your bio** to say exactly what you do and where
Example: "Dog grooming in Laurel, MD | DM to book | Specializing in anxious pups 🐾"

✅ **Add a link** to your booking page (or at least a way to contact you)

✅ **Pin a post** that explains your services (Instagram lets you pin up to 3 posts—use that!)

That's it. Simple. But most people aren't doing it.

If you're a dog business owner, go check your profile right now. Does it pass the 3-second test?

If not, fix it today. Your future clients will thank you.

Getting serious about showing up consistently in 2026.

For a while, I was overthinking content. Staring at the blank screen. Wondering what to post. You know the drill.

But here's what changed: I stopped trying to do it all manually and started using AI tools like Genspark to help me plan, batch, and stay on top of content without burning out.

And honestly? Game changer.

If you're a small business owner trying to figure out social media—especially if you're doing it all yourself—just know you don't have to reinvent the wheel every single day.

There are tools that can help. Systems that can make it easier.

More coming soon. Let's do this. 🚀

Your customers aren’t searching Google like they used to.

They’re finding restaurants on Instagram, buying gifts off TikTok, and discovering services on YouTube.

If your business isn’t showing up there—you’re invisible.

As everyone gears up for the holidays, smart business owners are gearing up for what’s next. This is your Q4 reset to own 2025.

Here’s how you can stand out as a local business owner in 2025:

- Forget just Google. “Search” now means TikTok, YouTube, Instagram—even Amazon. It’s all about “Search Everywhere Optimization.”

- Tools like AnswerThePublic help you discover what your future customers are searching for—across all platforms—before it trends.

- Fill gaps with fresh, helpful content that your niche or Laurel community actually needs.

- Use short-form videos with strong sub-hooks to boost watch time. Retention is now the key to reach.

- Consider starting a local podcast. It’s the most underrated way to build trust and stay top of mind.

- Focus on PERSONAL brand. People buy from people who they trust.

- Turn your content into a sales engine with native shopping tools. Tag products, use links, and guide viewers straight to checkout.

Start showing up differently now—so you stand out in 2026.

Everyone keeps saying, “Too late to go viral.”

Wrong.

Here’s what most creators don’t know:

📉 Follower count doesn’t matter anymore
🧠 Algorithms now reward INTEREST, not popularity
📦 4.6 billion pieces of content are made every day
🚀 New accounts are winning—because the content is fresh
📈 Watch time > likes, comments or shares
🎯 “Search” now means Google, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, even ChatGPT

This means two things:

1️⃣ Most creators are wasting time copying "what worked last year"
2️⃣ New creators willing to adapt are about to explode

If you're tired of low views and inconsistent growth, here’s what works now:

✅ Create content on what’s new, not what’s popular
✅ Use FREE tools like AnswerThePublic to find rising trends
✅ Repurpose content across platforms—YouTube, TikTok, Instagram
✅ Focus on watch time by using mini-hooks in your videos
✅ Build consistent brand visibility (11+ touchpoints = buyer trust)

And if all this feels overwhelming, start simple:

📌 Record a short video answering 1 trending question in your niche
📌 Grab 3 friends, ask for honest feedback
📌 Post it consistently for 30 days
📌 Promote smarter—more energy on sharing than creating

Still think it’s too late?

Neil Patel started from scratch more than once. So did thousands of creators now crushing it.

Nobody's ahead—unless you're not playing.

Get visible. Or get left behind.

Most people think a hook is an introduction.

It's not.

It's a promise.

Bad hook: "Hey guys, welcome back to my channel"
Good hook: "Your content is failing because of this one mistake"

The difference?

One makes people curious, the "I NEED to know this"

vs. the other makes them scroll.

People will forgive grainy video, but if they can’t hear you clearly — they scroll.

In this video, I’ll show you the cheap microphone I use (just $16 on Amazon) that instantly makes your videos sound pro.
