It’s been brought to my attention, quite a few times & I’ve chosen not to say anything publicly. But, others and myself have noticed a few other local and surrounding small businesses copying my post’s word for word, same pricing, same format, same exact mock up pictures and also stealing, yes stealing — cause I purchase color charts and have edited them myself with my own money; also why i have started watermarking… buying the same exact files & adding the same exact words and fonts that I used to make it my OWN!
Respectfully, please be original, be YOU.. not someone else!! Please spend your own hard earned money to invest in your business and not take someone else’s work. I work so hard and spend countless hours and hours and hours searching and posting designs every single week. I know coincidences happen, but time and time again isn’t cool. Yes, 99.9% of us use Etsy but there are THOUSANDS of trending designs.
I want to see everyone win in this industry and there is room for us all — but be unique and come up with your own stuff like I’ve had to do!! We all have different audiences and know what our customers like. I have helped and answered SOOO many questions for other ladies starting out & I DO NOT MIND AT ALL!! I love helping others. I love that I am able to help and be a “mentor” cause I do not gate keep! Heck, you could probably just ASK me and I’d give it to you!!
With that being said, if you wake up one day and realize you’re blocked, you’ll know why. For the ones that have my back and notice and tell me, thank you 🫶🏼
