After reviewing investments and retirement, it is hard not to compare the results over the past 3 yr (3/21 - current) Presidential term and the past 4 yr previous 3/17 to 3/20 presidential administration.

The reality vs speculative reports have indicated that 3/2021 through 6/2024 and the yields are through the roof. Under the previouse admin. the growth was net zero. Currently the net is more than 28%.

I can recall a lot of concerns over market crash and recession/depression. Here we stand with highest returns in 7 years over the past 3 years. Just look at your retirement funds. Feds are expected to lower interest rates as inflation falls below 3%. I am not a financial specialist, but I am pleased with our current market.

PennDOT Seeking Workers for Winter Maintenance Program

While we are still feeling the summer heat, PennDOT is preparing for cooler temperatures by gearing up for its winter maintenance program.

Positions available may include CDL equipment operators, mechanics, dispatchers, tradesman helpers and semi-skilled laborers. The positions pay between $16.04 per hour to $27.75 per hour. The winter maintenance program runs from September through April.

Anyone wishing to apply should visit www.employment.pa.gov and go to the PennDOT Winter Maintenance Program posting under the “Open Jobs” section of the website.
