KBMF, WOM, and The Covellite Present: The KBMF Pledge Party

It is with gratitude and community that KBMF-LP Butte is gearing up for our 2026 pledge drive,
June 7th though the 13th
We surpassed the incredible milestone of 10 years on air last year and continue to build a strong community station in the heart of Uptown Butte. Without your continued support this little radio station that could, would not be in operation today.
Sustainability is one of the most difficult hurdles for underfunded stations such as ours. We rely
heavily on the generosity of our member donors to create a functioning operating budget for the fiscal
year.
KBMF-LP Butte is mostly run by our committed volunteer DJs but there is extensive management that
curates daily operations. Your support will go towards the salary of the general manager and
program director as well as equipment maintenance and upgrades. 2025 marked our full station remodel
bringing us into the digital age. This remodel has been a blessing for our studio and brought us much
smoother transmission to the community.
Along with station upgrades in 2025, the Carpenters Union Hall finished the elevator project in early 2026. Our home base is more accessible than ever and we look forward to hosting more events and gatherings for the community as a whole. KBMF is forever welcoming new and interesting DJs to our station roster. This year we brought in 9 fresh on air voices, all with their own brand of eclectic programming. We are reaching a wide demographic here in Butte and we pride ourselves on inclusivity and diversity.

2025 was a very difficult year for the arts. Wide federal funding cuts have greatly impacted community stations all over the country. KBMF-LP Butte relies on donor contributions like most community stations all over the country and we host only one pledge drive per year. During the 2026 pledge drive we are keeping our goal at $20,000. We humbly ask for your support during this week of fundraising.
Please come celebrate with us on the last day of the pledge drive at the Covellite Theatre at 7pm on June 13th at 7pm

Thursday 8 AM to 10 AM
Every other Thursday 10 AM to noon
